This movie is the perfect example of sacrificing good storytelling in service of delivering a message. The plot was all over the place, some characters were pointless, and often dialogue was forced.  Could've been good if done right, but the writers were lazy af. Critic gave this a 5 wtf??

Heavily leans on commercialism, over-the-top ranty feminism (that's out of touch with reality), and relies on uninspired humor and dialogue. It's stupid how this was well-raved. And yes critic of this site is blind

THAT WAS QUITE THE TREAT!!! I loved it. And I'm sure everyone else will. A powerful message about women empowerment and a world ruled by toxic masculinity. Everything balances out with the whole fun, colorful, and meaningful storyline. I just witnessed peak cinema 1/2. Now time for Oppenheimer.

Unexpectedly, my sister and I liked it. We thought it's just a comedy film with no proper storyline or a storyline that's all over the place. It has a nice conflict and conclusion. Barbie and Ken have proper character development towards the end. Above all, we love the aesthetic.
