Merchant Spotlight: A Taste of the Simple Life with 'Primo's Farm Fresh Kesong Puti'

Merchant Spotlight: A Taste of the Simple Life with ‘Primo’s Farm Fresh Kesong Puti’

A delicious treat that brings back memories from our life in the province.

The Story

Primo’s Farm Fresh Kesong Puti was started by Chris Hernandez, Joy and Justin Ofilada during the lockdown when they had plenty of time on their hands. They went home to their province, Bulacan, where they were able to recreate their childhood kesong puti (carabao cheese) with the help of their lola.

“What we came up with was too good not to share!” says Justin. “The kesong puti of our dreams–delicately soft, always fresh, and tasted exactly like our childhood favorite.”

“Primo’s Kesong Puti not only connected us with happy memories of simpler times but it also gave us a unique opportunity to sustain the livelihood of local farmers during these trying times. It was a win-win!” he adds.

Specialty

Primo’s takes pride with their rolls of kesong puti made from the freshest carabao’s milk that they source straight from the farmers. Each roll is packaged with banana leaves and wrapped in brown paper, and is delivered to customers the same day it is made.

Besides their signature Farm Fresh Kesong Puti, they also offer Pastillas in a Jar— another heirloom recipe made from fresh carabao’s milk. Check out some photos of their products below:
