The Story
Joey Silvestre admitted dealing with anxiety and restlessness due to the COVID-19 pandemic, until she found her therapy– revisiting her passion in baking through The Drunk Baker.
With a glass of her favorite drink in hand, Joey fuels her creativity in the kitchen, baking delightful desserts that she would want to serve to her loved ones. After sending it to friends and family, the positive feedback encouraged her to finally turn it into a business.

“I’ve always advocated that quality time with family at home is crucial in having a happy community and workplace,” says Joey. “With my products, I’ve committed myself in making sure that I make products that will be worthy of quality time with loved ones.”
Specialty
The Drunk Baker’s cream of the crop is the Lemon Olive Oil Cake, which is also the base for all of their cakes. Instead of butter, Joey uses olive oil as fat for her cakes. With this quirk, the home baker made dozens of trial-and-errors before she found the right recipe; something quite unique but will surely be appreciated by her customers.
