Got really curious to watch this (exclusively released by SM Cinemas) as this has been getting a lot of buzz after winning the Palme d'Or sa French Oscars. Tinalo lang naman ang Once Upon A Time in Hollywood ni Quentin Tarantino.
Is it a black comedy, family drama, mystery thriller? You'd be blown away how the story seamlessly shifts from one layer to another. Mind-f*ck talaga! Never seen a movie quite like this. Can't remember the last time I watched a movie twice all the metaphors and allegories made sense. Great storytelling, haunting musical pieces and brilliant cinematography confined in just two households. Believe the hype, this one's a masterpiece! Abangan yung mapangahas na eksena sa sofa. Hahah!
I am taking an important exam in two days and what better thing to do than review is to watch this movie! With my daughter! SHE LOVED IT! I don't know what struck me? What was the significance of that rock? You'll never know, until you watch this movie! Please SM! PLEASE EXTEND!!! JEBALYO! EXTEND JUSEYO!!!
+ Heartwarming in a bad way
+ Family themes ibabang siya sa recent family drama movies
+ Motives are on point ng characters, maiintindahan mo talaga bakit kailan nila gawin to live.
+ Not a common Korean film 'Be prepare'
I really can't get over the moment I saw this film. I can't sleep last night, thinking what hit me. I thought I would be able to predict the outcome of this movie because I already read the review. And boy, was I wrong. My knees were literally shaking after watching this. Koreans are really good at storytelling. Symbolism was all over the movie.
Mapapaisip ka talaga pagkatapos ng movie, babalikan mo ang mga eksena at dun mo lang mare realize lahat ay may koneksyon.
Watched it for yourself. It really deserve the award from Cannes Festival.
PLEASE WATCH IT! A movie with a heart and social relevance
