Based on Susannah Cahalan's memoir 'Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness," it tells the story of a rising journalist at the New York Post mysteriously has seizures and starts hearing voices. Following a series of outbursts and misdiagnoses, a lucky last-minute intervention by one doctor finally gives her a diagnosis in hopes to rebuild her life.
