Sharp Objects
2018Sharp Objects is an upcoming American television miniseries starring Amy Adams, based on Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name. It will be developed by Marti Noxon, with Jean-Marc Vallée as director. The miniseries is scheduled to debut on HBO in the summer of 2018.
Sharp Objects follows "Camille, a crime reporter fresh out of a psych hospital for her years of self-harm, returns to her hometown of Wind Gap, Mo., to investigate the murders of two little girls. The assignment lands her back in her childhood home under the critical eye of picture-perfect small-town socialite Adora, which forces Camille to confront personal demons.
