WATCH: ‘Money Heist: Korea’ Reveals Teaser Trailer Featuring its Korean Cast

The trailer teases a new mask for the Money Heist crew!

Netflix has just released a special teaser for the upcoming Korean adaptation of Spain’s global hit series La Casa de Papel. Titled Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, the series reimagines the popular characters of El Profesor, Berlin, Tokyo, and more as they commit the biggest heist in South Korea.

Watch the teaser below:

The teaser features the Professor, portrayed by Yoo Ji-tae, as he approaches a wall with masks including the original show’s iconic Salvador Dali mask. The scene cuts off just as the Professor reaches out to take a mask. Since the Dali mask represents Spain, viewers can expect that the crew of the new series will don masks that will also represent Korea.

The teaser then gives us a look at the other key characters of the series, including Seon Woojin, the Team leader of the Crisis Negotiation Team, and the Professor’s crew members– Berlin, Tokyo, Moscow, Denver, Nairobi, Rio, Helsinki, and Oslo.

Directed by Kim Hong-sun, the series also stars Kim Yunjin, Park Hae-soo, Jun Jong-seo, Lee Won-jong, Park Myung-hoon, Kim Sung-o, Kim Ji-hun, Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Joobeen, Lee Hyun-woo, Kim Ji-hoon, and Lee Kyu-ho.
