It’s been months since we’ve been living in the “new normal” with most of us still working from home, still keeping our distance from each other, and still wondering when we’ll go back to our lives before.

In this special series, we feature different personalities in various industries to have a glimpse of how their lives are pre-pandemic, their current situation, and their outlook of the future.
We talked to Glenn Llamas who is the Chief Operating Officer for Wilbros Live. The company is one of the best concerts and live events organizers in the Philippines. They are responsible for bringing some of the biggest acts including Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Michael Buble, Selena Gomez, John Legend, Demi Lovato, and Jason De Rulo just to name a few.
Before Pandemic:
Our company holds several concerts and live events per quarter. We would usually be very busy preparing and planning for these tours. Everything is fast paced so it gets really hectic all the time. Just this February, we were still fortunate enough to have Pentatonix and also Boyce Avenue tour Manila, Cebu and Davao.
New Normal:
Our line of business is unfortunately the first to be hit and probably the last to return to normal operations. The whole Wilbros Live team has been utilizing its time and resources now to help our frontliners and other people in need. We have started programs to help aid and alleviate our fellow brothers and sisters who have been most affected by this pandemic.
Hopes for the Future:
We are surely looking forward to organizing more events and putting back smiles to people’s faces with our live shows. To start, we have rescheduled dates with Avril Lavigne, The Pussycat Dolls, Sarah Brightman and etc. We remain optimistic and believe that these shows and more will happen very soon.
