Filipino beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach, Megan Young, Kylie Verzosa, and Angelia Ong graced the cover for the July 2021 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam. The queens also shared photos from the shoot on their social media, referencing the 1980s film Temptation Island, which also features the story of beauty contest winners who get stuck on a deserted island.

Space Jam: A New Legacy, a new film starring LeBron James and the Tune Squad made its world premiere last week! It follows a fictionalized version of LeBron James, who must team up with the Looney Tunes to win a basketball match against digitized champions so he can rescue his son from a rogue AI. It also stars Don Cheadle, Khris Davis, Sonequen Martin-Green, and features the voices of Jeff Bergman, Eric Bauza, and Zendaya.

Now on its 5th week, the K-drama Nevertheless is continuing to be one of the most talked-about dramas of today. The fifth episode continues to follow Na Bi and her confusing relationship with Jae Eon. And despite no longer wanting to get involved with him anymore, she finds herself working with him for her project, and they end up getting closer yet again. We also got to see more of Do Hyuk, who treats Na Bi well and does things that Jae Eon won’t or can’t do. The drama also gave us more on the two side couples — Bit Na and Kyu Hyun, as well as Sol and Jiwon — whose relationship seem to be progressing in a good direction!

John Mayer’s Sob Rock

Last Friday, John Mayer released his newest album Sob Rock. This is his first album since 2017’s The Search for Everything and features a sound that is still completely John Mayer. It consists of 10 tracks, including the lead single “Last Train Home,” which is a collaboration with Mareon Morris, as well as the 2018 song “New Light.”

Valve has recently unveiled Steam Deck — their upcoming handheld gaming PC. Priced at $399, this device is designed like a Nintendo Switch, with the common buttons and joysticks you’d usually find in a Switch, as well as 2 trackpads to give players more control options. You can even connect it to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, so you could use it as a standard PC.

The device is priced at $399 for the 64GB variant, while the 256GB variant and 512GB variant is priced at $529 and $649, respectively. It’s set to start shipping this December in selected coUntries.
