The sequel to the 2011 indie film that premiered in Cinemalaya and also screened internationally. Eugene Domingo and the rest of the actors, director, and writer return for this MMFF entry that is a satirical take on the mainstream film industry this time around.
Not your usual slapstik comedy. Eugene Domingo is funny. I really like the 3 levels of hugot. Can't believe how much spa treatment can a person get in 1-2 days. I've been waiting for the septic tank up till the end. With all the comedy, one very important lesson to learn: Face your personal problem head on instead finding a diversion to fix it.
ANG BABAE SA SEPTIC TANK 2 (or as I call it, Ang Babaeng Binuhusan ng Septic Tank). This film never failed me to show the current bullshit of mainstream movies. Hate in-film commercials? Watch this film. Hate predictable love storyline? Watch this film. A newbie in the field of filmmaking? Watch this film.
Kudos to the filmmaker for giving the silent role to Khalil Ramos this time.
