About the Event
With the theme "Galing ng Pinoy, A celebration of OPM's Best” the most awaited 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music with Supremo Records and Music Productions Inc. will officially hold on January 23, 2020, in partnership with Tikkun Olam, a non-profit organization which means “Repair the World” that has a mission to reach out to underprivileged people sick with Leprosy, TB and other terminal diseases.

The PMPC Star Awards for Music is an extended category of the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) who is well-known for honoring Filipino artists for more than 30 plus years and their annual PMPC Star Awards for Movies dedicated to Filipino motion pictures.

The OPM refers broadly to the pop music that first emerged in the Philippines in the 1900s and became popular songs in radio and karaoke playlists for the Filipino market and beyond.
Aside from the long list of awardees, attendees will also witness the awarding of Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award to Asia's Songbird, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid while Singer-Songwriter Jose Mari Chan will be receiving Parangal Levi Celerio Lifetime Achievement Award for their contribution in the music industry.
This celebration will give new meaning to OPM and inspire more Filipino artists to showcase their talent through the music that defines our blood.
