About the Event
GROUNDED: Battle of the Arts is a dance brand that started in Australia in 2015 and launching in Manila on September 22 this year. It’s a dance competition with a mission to push the boundaries of creativity & entertainment.
We are seeing a lot of dance routines that are starting to look very similar to each other so GROUNDED inspires creativity by having a theme each year. It is open to all dance genres and is invitation only so you will be witnessing the finest Filipino choreographers and performers. This year’s first prize winner takes P50,000 in cash!
The 2019 theme is "GODS & GODDESSES" which is a project awareness about our inner powers and infinite potential. We launch in collaboration with The Company of Ateneo Dancers (CADS) with a show at Henry Lee Irwin Theatre from 7pm to 9pm.
