‘Tis the season of sharing and Nickelodeon is giving avid Nicksters and their families a chance to spread their own brand of Christmas cheer to school children, as the kids and family entertainment brand partners with the Department of Education (DepEd) for the Nickelodeon Crazy Christmas Sharelebration, on December 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
“For the first time, Nickelodeon is partnering with the education department for a wacky Christmas celebration that will teach both donors and recipients a lesson in sharing one’s valuables, especially among less privileged people,” said Dinna Zaratan, Country Manager, Philippines, Viacom International Media Networks.
A crazy Christmas cheer for Nicksters
Free and open to all visitors, the Nickelodeon Crazy Christmas Sharelebration will enable everyone to share their blessings by donating old books or clothes, new or pre-loved toys, and other usable recreational materials. With the help of DepEd, the donations will help bring Christmas cheers to students in selected public schools.
During the event, a special Nick-inspired Crazy Christmas Tree—with a Crazy Tree-mometer—will provide a spectacle that everyone can look forward to. With donations pouring in, kids can get ready for exciting surprises, such as flash mobs and Nickelodeon character appearances, as the Crazy Tree-mometer reaches “crazy” level.
Kids can also view special holiday episodes of other Nickelodeon shows, enjoy on-stage games, take home exciting prizes and goodies, as well as see their favorite Nickelodeon characters, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.
Apart from the Sharelebration, a special treat also awaits Nicksters with the premiere of Nickelodeon's first original animated TV movie, Albert, on December 23 at 1pm. Albert is a heart-warming story of a tiny Douglas fir tree who loves Christmas more than anyone and dreams of being the most famous Christmas tree in Empire City.
Fans can also build their own crazy Christmas tree with Nickelodeon’s first Christmas Tree Styler at crazychristmas.nick-asia.com using specially designed ornaments. They can save, share an image card of the customized tree or print it, and send the card as their festive greetings to family and friends.
