About the Event

Artery Art Space is proud to present a solo exhibit by Arvin Flores entitled “Terrain of the New Vague”, traversing the ground from abstraction to figuration, following a reverberating path to the unknown using gestures and forms that become one’s compass toward a multitude of unimaginable heights.

Terrain Of The New Vague

The paintings in the exhibit ensues, intercepts, echoes, with varying temperatures and gravity, an interchangeable palette of colors tripping on techno electronic noveau where invention acts as a paradigm shift between mood fragments and comical recesses that push the limits of the expansive terrain of the imagination, as windows to infinite expression, re/creating forms as pattern, time lapses to inform the present.

Arvin Flores has an MFA graduate degree from The School of the Arts, Columbia University, New York NY, and a BFA from the College of Creative Studies, University of California at Santa Barbara.  He has shown at The University of Massachusetts Amherst's Hampden Gallery, Columbia University's LeRoy Neiman and Wallach Art Galleries, Aljira Contemporary Art Center NJ, and Southern Exposure Gallery CA.  He has also exhibited at Artery Art Space, Mono8 Gallery, and at West Gallery.
