MIPAM 2019

A global platform for performances, business-to-business exchange and networking opportunities, the MIPAM x CREATE PH aims to facilitate connections among artists, cultural operators, promoters, producers and impresarios from international performing arts markets and festival and establish possible future partnerships.

In collaboration with the DTI-CITEM, the MIPAM x CREATE PH is a good venue to introduce talented artists, not just from the Philippines but from across the region and promote them in the performing arts community in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific. During the event, various performing groups will showcase their artistic programs at the newly-built Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (CCP Black Box Theater).

There will also be exhibitions featuring dance companies, theater organizations, choral groups, experimental groups and allied industries suppliers.

Participants can also join the scheduled capacity-building seminar, a platform for continued learning for creative professionals. This seminar aims to equip arts professionals with proper knowledge to scale up their design business and become competitive in the local and international markets.

Atty. BJ Pallattao, John Paul Lanot and Alessa Libongco-Lanot will be the speakers on topics such as “Managing Business for Arts Sector,” “Basic Branding Principles,” and “Safeguarding Intellectual Property Rights in Performing Arts.”

The vital focus of MIPAM x CREATE PH is the domestic and international networking and business pitching between artists, creators and producers. There will be venue for networking and business-to-business meetings, as well as pitch for creative collaboration.
