Dance Series Track 6: Back to Basics

On its 24^th anniversary, the Lasallian Pointes N’ Flexes Dance Company in partnership with the Council of Students Organization, brings the 6^th track of its dance event entitled Dance Series Track 6: Back to Basics. 

Dance Series is a collaboration of various dance artists inside and outside the Lasallian community in Cavite. This is a pioneer project of LPNFDC which is expected to run and be held annually at Ugnayang La Salle, DLSU – D. The group aims to uncover Caviteños expression of art through graceful and powerful movements and coordination of both mind and body creating masterpieces of their own genres of dance. Teamwork and friendship are said to be crucial for the success of a group. Camaraderie and respect however, are essential for a triumphant network of talents which is one of the main objectives of this project, to unite all dancers for one cause and purpose.

This year’s Dance Series will be held on November 25, 2017 with guest artist from GMA, Ms. Arny Ross, an alumna of LPNFDC, and two (2) guest dance companies from Manila, one of which is the alumni of College of Saint Benilde Romancon. The event is open for outsiders and ticket costs P100.

The Lasallian Pointes N’ Flexes Dance Company is the official modern dance group of the De La Salle University – Dasmariñas under the supervision of the Cultural Arts Office. For more than a decade, it has already produced 25 batches of well-trained young performers with expertise in jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, belly dance, tap dance, gymnastics and contemporary dance.
