Highly-acclaimed Ywan Ballet Theater Company to perform at the Shang. On March 24, Friday, 6:30 PM at the Shangri-La Plaza Grand Atrium at Level 2 of the Main Wing, witness a magical performance by the highly lauded ballet company from South Korea, the Ywan Ballet Theater company.
The Ywan Ballet Theater Company was founded in 1987 and has since been making efforts to spread Korean culture all over the world through contemporary ballet. Through its creative advancement of ballet materials and techniques, the company has been reinterpreting traditional, classical ballet pieces to incorporate more modern styles.
The group has mesmerized various audiences in different countries including France, China, Hungary and Japan. Led by its Artistic Director, Professor Hwang Gyu-ja, the Ywan Ballet Theater Company is set to stage some of its most popular pieces like Esmeralda and The Nutcracker at none other than the metro’s top lifestyle destination, Shangri-La Plaza.
