About the Event
In preparation for the coming of the Chinese New Year, the Ateneo Celadon presents the Binondo Amazing Race on February 1, 2016, which will commence at the Ateneo de Manila Campus and bring participants all the way to the busy streets of Binondo.
Celebrating its 30th year, the Ateneo Celadon aims to share not only the history but also the modernization of Chinese and Chinoy culture; and what better way to get to know what it means to be Chinoy than visiting one of the oldest Chinatowns in the world and meeting historical Chinese characters.
For the adventurous or thrill-seeking individuals looking for something new and exciting, the Binondo Amazing Race is just the event for you. In the race, participants will get to experience firsthand the sights and sounds of Binondo with various challenges involving food tripping, historical tours, Chinoy trivia, physical challenges, lion dance performances, and a whole lot more.
