When You're Strange
July 22 to 24 (Artery, Cubao)

Artery Art Space proudly presents "When You're Strange" from July 16 to August 06, 2016, a three-person show by Romeo Lee, Carlo Ricafort, and Chill featuring paintings, drawings, and prints, marked distinct by a brooding set of impressive graphic force and painterly chops-driven and disturbed to skew conventions on narrative play and visionary symbolism, which creates a strange picture on the banality of the real, laughing over the variety of suffering too joyful to be hardcore.

Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas to Stage Damá: The Repeat Concert
July 23 (Music Museum)

After the success of their first major concert, Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas are teaming up once again for Damá: The Repeat. Known in the gig circuit as 3D, the acclaimed singer-songwriters will be joined by Manila String Machine for a night of soaring, heartfelt anthems on July 23, Saturday at the Music Museum.

The first Damá concert held at the Music Museum last February 19, was sold out a week before the show, and earned rave reviews from notable music press and concertgoers.

The repeat concert will surely be one for the books as the power trio promises to deliver captivating and resonant performances that aims to challenge the first one in terms of prestige and musicality. More songs in their repertoire will be rearranged with a 7-string section and a percussion in the background, taking the ambition up a notch without losing the warm, stripped-down quality of their songs.
