In Ghostbusters, a team of scientists loses their positions at a university in New York and decides to become “ghostbusters” to wage battle with the supernatural for money. While working on their jobs, they encounter a gateway to another dimension that can release evil upon the city. The three scientists must then work to save New York from destruction.
