Set in the 1980s Hong Kong, Elaine and her best friend Ying enter the entertainment industry hoping to change their fates from poverty. Ying soon becomes a popular porn star but Elaine is lost between being her true self and an actress. When show business declines after a decade, their choices lead them to two different paths in life.
