WATCH: ‘Fear Street Part 2: 1978’ Trailer Teases the Tragic Events in Camp Nightwing

The next Fear Street film takes us back to the '70s!

Last July 2, Netflix released the first film in their horror film trilogy Fear Street, based on the famous R.L. Stine books. This week, the second film of the trilogy is heading to the streaming platform, and we will once again see Shadyside, this time in the year 1978.

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 will follow the tragic events in Camp Nightwing, which was already teased in the first movie. When a new Shadysider is possessed by a strong urge to kill, the summer camp turns into a place of nightmare where the teen campers would have to fight for their lives.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming film below:

The upcoming film stars Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, and she is joined by actors Ted Sutherland, Michael Provost, Chiara Aurelia, and more. Kiana Madeira, Olivia Welch, and Benjamin Flores Jr. from Fear Street Part 1: 1994 will also be returning. All three Fear Street films are directed by Leigh Janiak.
