iCarly Revival

WATCH: The Trailer to Paramount+’s ‘iCarly’ Revival Series

ICYMI, the beloved Nickelodeon series iCarly is getting a revival on Paramount+ this year! The said series, which premieres this June 17, will have 13 episodes, and will bring back original cast members Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor.

Watch the trailer below:

The series is set 10 years after the original show and features Miranda Cosgrove’s Carly as she navigates work, love, and family in her 20s. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cosgrove said that Carly will be starting up her web show iCarly in the pilot of the new series, especially after not hosting it in a long time. She is also now living in the same apartment building they lived in years ago, this time with her best friend Harper (Laci Mosley).

Nathan Kress’ Freddie Benson also returns for the show. Cosgrove also told EW that in the series, Freddie has gone through a couple of divorces, and finally decides to live in the same building as Carly with — of course — Mrs. Benson. He also now has a stepdaughter named Millicent, played by Jaidyn Triplett.

Lastly, there’s our favorite artist, Spencer (played by Jerry Trainor), who’s now become very wealthy and has done a few renovations to the iCarly loft.

The new iCarly series is produced by Nickelodeon Studios and Awesomeness. The pilot comes from Ali Schouten, and Jay Kogen. The pilot is written by Ali Schouten, who also serves as the show’s executive producer and showrunner, and Jay Kogen. Cosgrove also executive produces the show, while Jerry Trainor and Alissa Vranderburg serve as producers.

The OG iCarly ran from 2007-2012, and followed two best friends who create a webcast for and about kids their age while going through everyday struggles and adventures.

The iCarly revival series premieres on Paramount+ this June 17. Sadly, the streaming site is not available in the Philippines yet, so Filipino iCarly fans would have to wait a bit longer before they can watch the series.
