Kingdom is a 6-episode period drama set in Joseon era and in a town that's plagued by a disease that turns anyone infected into someone that's immune to death and hungry for flesh. Following the rumor that the king has died, the crown prince – a victim of a conspiracy – must go on a journey to unveil the evil scheme involving his father, and save his people.

The drama is directed by Kim Seong Hun (The Tunnel) with a screenplay by Kim Eun Hee (Signal). It stars Ju Ji Hoon, Ryu Seung Ryong, Bae Doona, and Kim Sung Gyu.

No release date for the second season has been announced yet, but you can keep checking back on Netflix' Facebook and Twitter pages for updates.
