Be ready to channel your inner Eleven because the cast of Netflix' Stranger Things will be coming to Manila for the AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2017, happening this August 25-27 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
APCC, through their partnership with Netflix, will be giving fans the chance to meet and interact with their favorite characters, including Noah Schnapp (who plays Will Byers) and Joe Keery (who plays Steve Harrington), as well as the show's newcomers Dacre Montgometry (who will be playing Billy) and Sadie Sink (who will be playing Max, Billy's sister).
"We are excited to continue our partnership with Netflix this year by bringing Filipino pop culture fans an immersive experience including the appearance of multiple cast from Stranger Things, speaking panels, interactive and screening sessions at such a magnitude for the first time this ear in the region," said Abdulla Mahmood, Director Marketing and International Busines Development, Al Ahli Holding Group.
And because they want to make it as immersive as possible, Netflix will also be bringing the show's worlds to life through their immersive and interactive zones. Fans get to reenact and relive their favorite Stranger Things moments from the Byers' Living Room, Hawkins Lab, and even the Upside Down! (Hint: They'll also be using real set props so better get your cameras ready to take your next Instagram photo!)
There will also be an exclusive Netflix panel happening on the 25th, as well as a screening of Death Note – A Netflix Original Film from 6pm to 8pm of the same day.
Aside from the cast of Stranger Things, APCC also announced that Ray Fisher and Tyler Hoechlin will be making an appearance during the 3-day convention.
Tickets are at P600 (one-day pass), P900 (two-day pass), and P1100 (three-day pass). These tickets get guests access to stage activities, performances, and the main show happening in the convention. You may purchase them via the SM Tickets website or at SM Tickets outlets.
