Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon’s newest K-drama Bad and Crazy has finally made its premiere on South Korean TV and on the streaming site iQiyi last Friday! According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s first episode scored an average nationwide rating of 4.5%, ranking #1 on its timeslot. The drama centers on a capable but bad cop named Ryu Su Yeol who regains his humanity after meeting ‘K’ — a crazy but righteous man who likes to use his fist to resolve conflict. Joining Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon in the drama are Han Ji Eun, Cha Hak Yeon, and more.

Bagyong Odette

Filipinos who have been affected by Typhoon Odette are still in need of help after making landfall in the Visayas and Mindanao region at least nine times from December 16 to 17. This caused forced evacuations and left destruction, affecting power lines in many areas. In response to the call of Filipinos, many organizations have started donation drives to provide food and other essentials to those who’ve been affected by the typhoon.

Snowdrop

Snowdrop, another highly-anticipated K-drama starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jung Hae In has finally premiered on JTBC and Disney+ last December 18. The drama is set during South Korea’s 1987 Democracy Movement and centers on Im Soo Ho, a graduate student who participates in a pro-democracy protest. He then meets Eun Young Ro, who discovers him and hides him from the government despite the dangers of being under close surveillance.

The K-drama is available for streaming on Disney+.

After such a long wait, Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally showing in cinemas in other parts of the world! According to Deadline, the film now owns the 3rd best global debut worldwide with $587.2M, just after Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War. The film continues to follow Peter Parker who seeks the help of Doctor Strange to restore his secret after Mysterio reveals his identity to the public. This ends up creating a tear in their world, unleashing powerful villains who all fought Spider-Man in their universe. Now, the friendly neighborhood hero must face his greatest challenge yet, putting the future of the Multiverse at stake.

Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, and more. It premieres in Philippine cinemas this January 8.
