A young girl pines romantically for her best friend, but he's already in a committed relationship. When the relationship unexpectedly grows sour, she throws herself in her best friend's path, willing to chance the transience of a rebound fling in order to soothe his aching heart. But as the rebound grows into something more, the old girlfriend returns to cast doubt on everything that the best friends have.
