The Dark Tower 

Directed and co-written by Nikolaj Arcel, it is a continuation of Stephen King's novel series of the same name. Roland Deschain, the last Gunslinger is locked in an eternal battle with the Man in Black who is determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower – a mythical structure which supports all realities. It stars Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Walter o'Dim, the Man in Black, and Tom Taylor.


 

The Crucifixion 

Directed by Xavier Gens, it follows a priest who is jailed for the murder of a nun on who he was performing an exorcism. An investigative journalist strives to determin whether he murdered a mentally ill person or if he lost the battle with a demonic presence. It stars Sophie Cookson, Corneliu Ulici and Brittany Ashworth.

Love You to the Stars and Back 

Written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone, a girl named Mika decides to go on a road trip to look for aliens. During her trip, she accidentally bumps into Caloy whom she gives a free ride to until he reaches his destination. Mika then finds out that Caloy has cancer but despite it, he has learned to accept his fate. Both embark on a journey filled with adventures and misadventures not knowing they would fall in love with each other along the way. It stars Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.


 

The Battleship Island 

Directed by Ryoo Seung-wan, it is a Japanese occupation-era film about an attempted prison break from a forced labor camp on Hashima Island. It stars Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub, Song Joong-ki and Lee Jung-hyun.


 

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power 

Directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk, it is a documentary film about former United States Vice President Al Gore's continuing mission to battle climate change. The film addresses the progress made to tackle the problem and Al Gore's global efforts to persuade government leaders to invest in renewable energy.
