The first Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino kicks off today, which means all cinemas nationwide will be playing 12 Filipino films!
One of the films screening starting today is Victor Villanueva's comedy film Patay Na Si Hesus.

This Cebuano film tells the story of Iyay who goes on a road trip with her family from Cebu City to Dumaguete to attend her ex-husband's funeral. Aboard an "extra-mini mini-van", the family goes from one detour to another which leads them to confront the past and figure out how they will be able to enjoy the future ahead of them. It stars Jaclyn Jose, Chai Fonacier, Melde Montañez, Mailes Kanapi, and more.
The film was first screened in last year's QCinema International Film Festival where it won the Audience Award and Gender Sensitivity Award.
