A new concept from Hygge Bev Co, Alt Scoops uses 100% vegan ingredients for their gelato lineup. But this does not change the quality as each scoop remains smooth, silky, and rich. They currently have four decadent flavors: Dark Chocolate, Strawberry, Burnt Caramel with Roasted Pecans, and Choco Hazelnut, priced at only P350 per pint.

These bars would definitely catch anyone’s attention. Not only is the branding aesthetically pleasing, but the flavors are also spot on. Maxene Magalona-Mananquil started making her own desserts when she transitioned into a plant-based diet. After getting back from Bali where she stayed for a year, she’s been spending her time baking in the kitchen like most of us. Now, she’s sharing her vegan cookies with everyone else with the intention of spreading sweetness and kindness. Be Kind currently has two variants — Chocolate Chip (P300/6 pcs; P500/1 dozen) and Oatmeal Raisin (P250/6pcs; P450/1 dozen). Craving for something cold? Cool off with some Japanese dessert from Ikigai Kakigori. Their flavors include matcha, mango okinawa, Ichigo, and more, with vegan options available. For summer, they have a pop-up store at wabisabi Morato every Friday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

Miuccia Luxe Cakes
Miuccia Luxe Cakes’ doughnuts are just hard to resist even when you’re not vegan. Their doughnuts are made with organic and unbleached flours, and they have a variety of flavors you can choose from. There is a 1.5 to 2-week wait list but if you’re lucky, they have online pop-ups but you have to be quick as this gets sold fast. Some flavors are Creme Brûlée, Apple Pie, Belgian Choc Ganache, French Vanille, and Grilled Cheez.
