In this episode, Chef Nathaniel Uy a.k.a. The Hungry Chef shares his Ube-Cheese Tikoy recipe that’s perfect for the Chinese New Year! It only uses less than ten ingredients and it’s easy to make at home as well.

Ube-Cheese Tikoy Ingredients:
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 370ml evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup ube halaya
- 1/4 cup cheese
- pinch of salt
- ube extract (optional)
How to make Ube-Cheese Tikoy:
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
- Use a whisk and make sure everything is well incorporated. You may opt to use a hand blender if you don’t want any lumps in your mixture.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls and put the ube halaya and extract in one bowl. Put the cheese in the other bowl and mix until you get your desired consistency.
- Oil your container and pour the cheese mixture. Steam at low heat for 20 minutes.
- Pour the purple mixture and steam for another 20 minutes.
- Grate cheese on top and serve. Enjoy!
