Here’s a good reason to head to Tagaytay: Café Summit, Summit Ridge Tagaytay’s signature dining space, has reopened following an extensive redesign and culinary revamp.

Nestled amid the cool highlands of Tagaytay, Café Summit is ready to offer guests an elevated dining experience in a refreshed space that includes Filipino touches like modern furniture with solihiya accents and woven lamps. Matching the thoughtfully designed interiors is a menu that features local flavors and international favorites.

The reopening is a significant milestone for Summit Ridge Tagaytay, the pioneering property under Summit Hotels, a brand developed by Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR)—the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC). RHR is the largest hotel group in the Philippines by number of properties and is known for its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts that cater to different kinds of travelers all over the country.

The revitalized Café Summit stands as a testament to RHR’s commitment to innovation, guest satisfaction, and exceptional Filipino hospitality.

“Café Summit at Summit Ridge Tagaytay is a celebration of Filipino warmth, flavor, and design. This reopening marks a new chapter in our promise to consistently deliver elevated experiences for our guests across the Philippines. At Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, we don’t just build properties—we create spaces that reflect our identity as a truly Filipino hospitality company,” said Barun Jolly, RHR Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager.

Guests indulging in the buffet can look forward to the delight of live cooking stations, where dishes are prepared fresh before your eyes.

Feel like having bulalo? Cafe Summit’s take on the Tagaytay staple is sure to satisfy.

Going in a group? Dig into delicious platters that are feasts for both the eyes and your palate. Start the day right with the Brunch platter which includes daing na bangus, chicken adobo, tapang Taal, fried eggs, garlic rice and pickled veggies. Enjoy the Barkada platter with your friends—it’s a spread that includes crispy pata, beef ribs BBQ, longganisa, fish ceviche, annatto rice and coleslaw. Try the Sugba platter, a delightful array of dishes that are fresh off the grill: grilled pork, chicken inasal, grilled tuna, grilled shrimp, salted egg, ensalada and annatto rice.

Those in the mood for classics and comfort food are spoilt for choice—go for the Baked Salmon, Chicken Pesto Caesar or Roasted Maple Pumpkin Soup.

The menu also includes signature dishes from other Café Summit locations, created by different chefs at Summit Hotels across the country.

Jose Marie Ouano, General Manager of Summit Ridge Tagaytay, said, “We are excited to welcome our guests to the new Café Summit. Our goal was to create a space that feels both sophisticated and inherently Tagaytay—an inspiring backdrop for memorable meals.”

Cafe Summit isn’t the only reason to make the trip to Summit Ridge Tagaytay. The rest of the hotel, including the ballroom, has undergone renovation too, making this an ideal time to book a staycation or an event at Summit Ridge Tagaytay.  Enjoy the newly upgraded swimming pool, hang out by the pool bar, relax on the swings in the garden, take in some fresh air and admire that spectacular view of Taal Lake.

Another thing not to be missed when you visit Summit Ridge Tagaytay is R Coffee, a signature blend made only for RHR. It combines 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta beans that are medium-roasted for a balanced and enjoyable taste. Summit Ridge Tagaytay is just one of RLC’s developments in the area, along with residential community Bloomfields Tagaytay and premier condominium Wellington Courtyard.
