I got myself into horchata earlier this year and now I just can’t get enough of it. So of course, I had to scour for places to get horchata in Manila. There’s just something comforting and refreshing about this sweet and creamy drink that makes it highly addictive (at least for me). This drink with Spanish and Latin American roots is pretty simple, it is after all made just by combining rice, sugar, and spices, but it surprisingly has a unique flavor profile depending on how it’s made.
If you’re like me who has been craving or has always been curious about this creamy drink, here is a list of places where you can get horchata in Manila.
Burnt Ends
They offer two kinds of horchata, classic and toasted. They describe their toasted horchata as nutty, bold, creamy, and aromatic.
