Eat of the Week: This Takeaway Platter from Dr. Wine for Your Wine Nights

After a long week (or month, or year, maybe?) of working hard, it's only right for you to treat yourself with something nice and fancy every now and then. For some, it could be a relaxing massage or a very expensive purchase. To the others, it could be something as simple as a filling meal or a night chilling with friends with a nice bottle of wine.

However, during those times when you want to have the luxury of having wine nights without leaving the comforts of your home, Dr. Wine's Take-Away Packages will get you covered! The packages give you a choice of getting cheese or cold cuts platter or a combination of both, which would also go well for your choice of drinks.

Their most recommended platter is the Doctor's Platter which gives you their best selection of cheeses and cold cuts. This comes in two sizes: Regular (P1500), which is good for a group of 4, and Party (P5100), for a group of up to 16.

The Regular Doctor's Platter comes with slices of Belprado, Brie de Meaux, Iberico, and Saint Pauline Cheese, as well as a variety of cold cuts, served with pickles, walnuts, and Artisan bread.

The platter is also served with a Mushroom & Walnut Patè, which is basically pork, chicken, and beef pate with Porto Wine and mixed with mushrooms and walnuts.

Aside from this, Dr. Wine also serves this platter with another one of their bestsellers - the Organic Maple Syrup Chicken Liver Mousse - which is best to have paired with pickles and spread on their Artisan bread.

Planning to get these platters for your parties and events? You only need to place your order one day before the event and pick it up at Dr. Wine Manila's branch in Poblacion on the day of your event.

The Dish:  Regular Doctor's Platter (P1500)
