Harmonya: The String Ensemble of UPLB is staging its fifth concert – INSPIRASYON this April 20 – 23. It follows the success of last year’s concert, Nostalgia which featured songs, medleys and soundtracks from Disney movies, TV shows and movies and from anime as well.
This year’s concert will feature arrangement of Original Pinoy Music (OPM). It will be directed Regina May Martinez, also the director of Nostalgia.
The repertoire will include patriotic songs such as Dakilang Lahi, Forevermore and band songs from Eraserheads. It will also have the UPLB Choral Ensemble as one of its guest performer. Audience were also given a chance to pick their favorite song for the ensemble to play through an online poll for song requests last March 17-25. The winning entry will be announced during the shows.
For tickets, ticket booth will be at the back of the old humanities building starting on April 12 until April 20. Ticket price is 150 for students and 180 for regular. Shows will be at 3PM and 7PM at NCAS Auditorium, UPLB on April 21 – 23.
