About the Event

YouthHack is an international community of student startup organizations united by an advocacy to expose the youth to startups, technology, and entrepreneurship through localized programs and projects. In 2014, YouthHack organized the first ever hackathon for high school students in Metro Manila and since then has expanded to six other cities, regions, and countries - Philadelphia, Calabarzon, Sri Lanka, Bangkok, Malaysia, and Korea - and has had pitching and ideation competitions in Italy, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The past three years has seen YouthHack’s development as a community in terms of content, projects, and diversity.

YouthHack Asia Startup Summit

This year, YouthHack culminates these three years of growth with its first international event - the YouthHack Asia Startup Summit. The YouthHack Asia Startup Summit is a student-focused conference on building student startup communities for 30 student delegates from across Asia. It will be held in Manila, Philippines, from July 27 - 31. The vision of this conference is for these students to take the lead in spreading the startup culture to their own communities. With mentors from various sectors, workshops, and dialogues, the conference will achieve this by becoming a platform for international collaboration, cultural exchange, and awareness towards action. The YouthHack Asia Startup Summit will be co-organized by student startup organizations and communities in Manila. The participant fee is at USD200, covering food, accommodations, event venues, and in-event transportation. Air fare is not included.
