Netflix’s comedy superhero film Thunder Force drops on Friday, April 9. It follows two best friends who become a crime-fighting superhero duo when one of them invents a formula that gives people superhuman abilities. It stars Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. It is directed by Ben Falcone.
Night in Paradise
Premieres April 9 | Netflix
This new Korean film drops on Netflix this Friday, April 9. It follows a gangster who travels to Jeju Island to hide from a rival gang. While living on the farm of an arms dealer, he meets his terminally ill niece Jae Yeon who is also facing her own demons. The film stars Uhm Tae Goo, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Cha Seung Won. It is directed by Park Hoon Jung.

Heaven Official’s Blessing

Based on a Chinese webnovel, this animated series follows the beloved Crown Prince Xie Lian of the Xian Le kingdom. He ascended to the Heavens at a young age, only to be banished back to the mortal realm, and on his second attempt, Xie Lian was once again sent back to the mortal world. Eight hundred years later, in his quest to ascend once again, the prince meets a demon king that has been paying attention to him for a very long time.
