Weddings at The Peninsula is Back!

The Peninsula Manila welcomes back the art of celebration with a wedding and events fair that highlights its 46-year-old tradition of excellence

On the first weekend of September, from September 3 to 4, The Peninsula Manila welcomes back Weddings at The Peninsula and More which also marks the 46th year since The Peninsula Manila hosted its first wedding reception. To celebrate this milestone event, the hotel is partnering with industry leaders Rita Neri Event Planners (RNEP) and Manila Fashion Festival (MFF), in addition to other inspiring leaders from the Philippine wedding and events industry, for an event that will give attendees the chance to peruse a range of wedding and celebratory essentials, each one chosen for their signature style and savoir faire ā€“ from bridal finery to tabletop decorations, delicious cakes and blooming bouquets to honeymoon and holiday destinations, and many more.

Weddings at The Peninsula and More will take placeon September 3 and 4, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A highlight of Weddings at The Peninsula and More  will be the first-ever Manila Fashion Festival Bridal Collection on September 3.

Weddings at The Peninsula and More is a much-awaited event that celebrates the Filipinoā€™s love of celebrations. After two years of the pandemic, the 2022 edition will bring together participants who offer a varied array of services and merchandise while introducing elements that signals the eventā€™s emergence into a new normal.

Everything will begin at The Lobby that will be garlanded with masses of flowers. Created by floral artist Zenas Pineda, the colorful blooms will be a sight to behold.

The Upper Lobby will be transformed into a pop-up space offering a showcase of jewelry from Mel Diamonds; bespoke shoewear from Jimmy Choo and Shoepatos; lifestyle selections from West Elm; makeup artists from Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and Jo Malone; holiday and honeymoon destinations from the Peninsula Hotels in Asia, the US and Europe to those in Punta Fuego, Tagaytay and El Nido;Ā tablescapes by Beng Villanueva and Teddy Manuel; and the bridal collections by the designers of the Manila Fashion Festival.

The Conservatory will feature a carefully selected gathering of the countryā€™s most exclusive wedding and party suppliers and stylists like Jo Claravall, Jason Magbanua, Dave Sandoval, RJ Ledesma, Cake Concept, and dozens more whose vetted services and seasoned advice are an invaluable resource when planning one of the most important moments in a coupleā€™s life.

But the overarching theme of Weddings at The Peninsula and More  still remains the celebration of the beautiful elements of that one dream day of love ā€“ the wedding day. Highlighting this will be the first-ever Manila Fashion Festival Bridal Collection at The Lobby,a fashion parade of stunning bridal wear by acclaimed Filipino designers Banggo Niu, Steph Tan, Jun Escario, and Vin Orias. The shows will combine the passion of these four designers, the intimacy of a boutique show, and the beauty of bridal fashion in a series of mini collection shows set against the backdrop of The Lobbyā€™s iconic ā€œSunburstā€ sculpture by National Artist Napoleon ā€œBillyā€ Abueva.
