Hailing from Singapore, MuYoo is one of the first bakery slash fruit tea shops to come to the Philippines. They specialize in bread, pastries, and natural, fruit-based drinks with occasional milk tea drinks too. A combination of mu, meaning “cleanse” and yoo for “excellence”, they center their philosophy on nature and its natural gifts. So expect a holistic and specially curated menu which uses all-natural ingredient and fresh fruits in creating their food and drink.
Summer may be over and it may be raining lately but it’s still mostly warm and humid in Manila. MuYoo’s refreshing fruit drinks and milk-based offerings are here to save you. Their fruit teas are made with freshly brewed tea and fresh fruits featuring a variety of fruity combinations. Best-sellers include the Fruit Tea Overload, Orange Bash, and the Peach + Kalamansi + Passion Fruit. There are also the cloud fruit teas which have a tea base topped with a fluffy whipped cheese or rose cloud.
If you prefer something richer, there’s the Dirty Drink series which are milk-based drinks using fresh milk with swirls of brown sugar and flavors. Choose from Brown Sugar Pearl, Brown Sugar Pudding, Cheesy Brown Sugar Pearl, and Avocado Brown Sugar.
While MuYoo’s drinks deserve the spotlight, their bread and pastries do too.
