Hey, Directioners! You’re going to be celebrating One Direction’s 10 years worth of History (no pun intended) next week with so many new content!
Fans are getting new One Direction content next week, July 23, in celebration of the group’s 10th year anniversary! Now, while this isn’t the reunion everyone has been waiting and hoping for, it’s still a good way for fans to remember the group’s music and achievements throughout the years!
According to Rolling Stone, the group will launch a “10 Years of One Direction” website dedicated to celebrating their 10-year history. The site will be featuring a timeline of the boy band’s history – from the members’ first X Factor Auditions up to their 2015 hiatus. It will also serve as an archive where Directioners can watch music videos, performances, and behind-the-scenes content. They can even generate their own mixtapes, depending on how they explore the website’s content!
The group will also be releasing an anniversary video on the same day, showing the group’s journey, their music, and their relationship with fans.
Music streaming platforms will also be releasing both reformatted albums on July 23 to make listening to One Direction’s discography a lot more convenient and easier for fans! The content includes b-sides, rare songs, remixes, live recordings, and acoustic versions of songs everyone’s come to love.
The group, composed of members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and former member Zayn Malik, went on hiatus in 2016, after the release of the album “Made in the A.M.” All the members have released solo albums since then.
While waiting for the new website to drop, you can stream One Direction’s full discography here.
