About the Event
The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) is pleased to announce that the yearly Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), the biggest Philippine travel trade exhibition is now on its 27th year, making it the longest running travel trade exhibition in the Philippines. The fun continues at the 27th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) with this year’s lineup of activities and tour offerings on September 2 to 4 at the SMX MOA Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4:
- Business meetings (B to B) – direct meeting with the potential clients (local corporate and foreign tour operators) right at the show floor;
- Bigger and more colorful cultural events with participants coming from the different regions of the country, featuring Eco Chorale Competition, Himig ng Kundiman, Cultural Dance Competition and Patimpalak ng Kasuotang Filipino;
- New sets of judges from the academe and leading cultural and art groups and associations;
- The 8th Tourism Quiz Bee Finals with entries from the different regions;
- Sale ng Bayan - a B to C meeting that will allow our travelling consumers to “book and buy” promotional holiday packages, one time promotional deals on airfares, accommodation and other tourism related services, with exclusive offering during the three-day event.

Last year’s Philippine Travel Mart generated an onsite sale of Php 120,345,719.41 which the organizers expect to increase by another 15% this year. Almost 58 thousand visitors to the exhibition was registered last year. A twenty percent increase in foot traffic is expected this year.
A total of 225 companies composed of Tour operators/Travel agencies, Hotels, Resorts, Theme Parks, Restaurants, Investment Facilities, Real Estate Developers, Medical related facilities suppliers & services, Education and academic institutions, IT-Related suppliers, LGU's, Tourism associations’ Air, Sea and Land Transportation providers, Spa & Wellness/Fitness Centers; Food and Merchandise will occupy 3,067 square meters or Halls 1-4 of the SMX Convention Center. Led by Tourism Promotions Board with its 350 square meter pavilion show casing why "Its more fun in the Philippines" and individual pavilions ( 54 square meters ) of Palawan, Bohol, Ilocos Norte, Davao City, Subic Bay, SOX and City of Dreams, the 27th PTM is definitely the best travel exhibition of Philippine destinations.
The colorful opening ceremony on 02 September will showcase the flamboyant display of the T’bolis of SOX region through their ethnic tribal dances and songs accompanied by indigenous musical instruments contrasted by the fiesta like ambiance presentation of the artists of Rizal led by the parade of Higantes of Angono.
The 27th Philippine Travel Mart is organized by PHILTOA (Philippine Tour Operators Association) and co-presented by (TPB) the Tourism Promotions Board-Philippines with PLDT as official internet provider and Citibank as the official credit card partner.
