Named as one of DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough DJs of 2010, Marc Vedo has performed in global music festivals, top-tier nightclubs and hotspots, and has effectively produced top tracks with a number of mega artists. Marc has circled the globe introducing his electronic beats to audiences in America, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Canada, China, the Philippines, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, the Netherlands, and Russia. He has performed alongside industry icons such as The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto, Carl Cox, and Sasha, and draws crowds at the world’s finest festivals – Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Homelands, and the Berlin Festival.
Under his Koolwater Recordings label, Marc released dance hits such as “Chemical Fatboy”, which was included in Hed Kandi’s Twisted Disco album, and “Escada”, a track that crossed over 25 compilations. The label also produced “Don’t Take the Night” and “Kalino Mome”, among others, which never fail to keep partyphiles gyrating to the tunes’ melodic and euphoric beats.
Together with British songwriter and lead singer of pop band Culture Club Boy George, Marc formed the record label VG Records, which produced “Sunshine Into My Life” featuring Basement Jaxx lead singer Sharlene Hector. Marc has also collaborated with music icon George Michael to produce “Every Other Lover”, George’s first official release in recent years.
