This May, allow Marriott Hotel Manila to reveal why every forkful of the dishes it serves is bursting with a harmonious balance of flavors.

For many years, Marriott Hotel is trusted by its patrons the world over. One of the main reasons is its truthfulness to offer impeccable service, and that includes the food. In Marriott Manila, the hotel’s kitchens are filled with real ingredients that are literally fresh from the farm. Executive Chef Meik Brammer is a stickler for this, ensuring every day that diners will always enjoy fresh, local, seasonal, and sustainable produceā€•the way good and real food should be.

This May, its premiere steakhouse will highlight “Farm to Table” menu, each dish that Cru Steakhouse will offer is perfectly paired with Barcino Corporation’s Spanish wines like Cava Classic Brut, Vallformosa, Albarino, and Martin Codax.

Diners will be off to a good start with the Citrus Cured Norwegian Salmon which has cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, baby arugula, and smoked goat cheese. It goes well with the Rose Martin Codax or the Cuatro Pasos Rosado.

Love soup but would love to go beyond the usual? That’s just what Cru Steakhouse will serve as it offers Organic Sweet Corn Veloute that will make lips smack with its crab spaetzles and chive Chantilly cream. The Masia Freye or the Syrah/Tempranillo is the perfect accompaniment to this savory soup.

The main course is a hefty serving of Grilled US Certified Angus Prime Rib Steak. Relish this succulent prime meat with rosemary crushed potatoes, grilled organic vegetables, and pink peppercorn soup. Each bite will make diners cheer for a glass of Portuguese wines like White Port or Robertson’s.

Cap this delightful meal with an equally delightful dessert. There’s smoked raisins, tamarind ice cream, and graham cracker crumble in the Mango Confit, Peanut Sponge.

With all these balance of flavors using only the freshest ingredients added with the best wines, who says one can’t eat local and dine global? Marriott Hotel Manila believes that what happens in the farm has a lasting impact on what is served on the table. So this May, enjoy farm to fork at its finest—only at Cru Steakhouse!
