A minute into it and The Greatest Showman already sets the whole mood with its catchy opening music.
The film which stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya is about P. T. Barnum’s wonderful and colorful creation of Barnum and Bailey’s Circus is worth seeing on the big screen.
The soundtracks alone, like Rewrite the Stars and This is Me, can be a sole reason to spend money on The Greatest Showman. I got goosebumps in every musical number. It’s no wonder they won Best Original Song in the recently held Golden Globes. Add to it the wonderful choreography and artistic visuals, this film is a surefire hit.
One of the things I love about this film is Zac Efron singing and strutting again which brings back happy memories of Troy Bolton in High School Musical. I am so glad he did this film. I can also say that there is a chemistry between him and Zendaya and they really complimented each other. Also, Rebecca Ferguson really owned the part of Jenny Lind. Keala Settle is also a revelation. Hugh and Michelle’s performances are given as they are both wonderful actors.
Because if its well-crafted musical numbers, actors’ chemistry and artistic shots and sequences, The Greatest Showman needs to be seen.Superb CastLove the Soundtrack
