It looks like Alessandra de Rossi of Kita Kita and Through Night and Day will break our hearts once again with her new film on Netflix, My Amanda.
Today, Netflix unveiled the official trailer of the film, giving us a glimpse of the chemistry between Alessandra de Rossi’s Amanda and Piolo Pascual’s TJ, best friends who are seemingly on the edge of falling in love with each other. Check out the trailer below:
As the film’s brief synopsis teased, TJ and Amanda, a.k.a. Fuffy and Fream, share a friendship that seems so much more, but it isn’t love either. It then asks the question: What’s in between friendship and love?
Aside from the funny taunts exchanged by the two characters, the trailer also unveiled some of the emotional moments of the film. And considering the impact of her previous films, De Rossi will probably make us cry once again in My Amanda, this time with Piolo Pascual as her leading man.
My Amanda also marks Alessandra de Rossi’s directorial debut, while Piolo Pascual co-produced. The film will arrive on Netflix this July 15.
