It's a great month for Asian representation, especially with Crazy Rich Asians it's the first Hollywood-produced movie with an all-Asian cast in over two decades! – having just came out a few weeks ago. 1. Fresh Off The Boat

Fresh Off the Boat follows Eddie Huang's Taiwanese family who has just moved from Washington DC's Chinatown to Orlando, Florida to open a cowboy-themed steak restaurant. It's after the big move that they realize the struggles they will be facing, from experiencing culture clashes, to the kids having difficulties blending in school.

The show stars Crazy Rich Asians' Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Randall Park, Forrest Wheeler, and Ian Chen.

2. Kim's Convenience

Kim's Convenience is a Canadian sitcom centering on a family of Korean-Canadians who run a convenience store at a neighborhood in Toronto. It's based on a 2011 play of the same by Ins Choi, and stars Paul Sunhyung Lee. Jean Kim, Simu Liu, Andrea Bang, Andrew Phung, and Nicole Power. 

3. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

In Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Rebecca Bunch is a real-estate lawyer who suddenly decides to move to West Covina in California to follow her first love and search for happiness. There she befriends her new firm's paralegal, her neighbor, and her first love's friends. 

The show stars Rachel Bloom, Vincent Rodriguez, Santino Fontana, Skylar Astin, and Donna Lynne Champlin. 

4. Ali Wong: Baby Cobra

This stand-up comedy features Ali Wong – who also penned the first three seasons of Fresh Off the Boat, by the way – as she talks about her sexual adventures, her stories on pregnancy, and more, all while being 7 months pregnant! 

5. Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife

Two years after Ali Wong: Baby Cobra, she is back with another baby bump and a new stand-up special! In Hard Knock Wife, Ali Wong now talks about her woes on marriage and motherhood, from the challenges of breastfeeding to balancing her life as a mom and as a career woman after giving birth. 

6. To All the Boys I've Loved

Aside from Crazy Rich AsiansTo All The Boys I've Loved Before is another film with an Asian lead that's been the talk of the town recently. The film is based on a young-adult novel by Jenna Han, centering on Lara Jean Covey, whose love life goes out of control when every letter she wrote to her crushes get mysteriously sent out. This Netflix Original stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. 

7. Jo Koy: Live From Seattle

Another stand-up special to add to your list of must-watch, Jo Koy: Live From Seattle features the Filipino-American comic as he talks about his stories of being raised and growing up with a Filipino mom. 

8. Friday Night Bites

Available for streaming via YouTube, Friday Night Bites is a weekly comedy webseries about 3 Kiwi-Asian women who live together, following them on a span of 28 nights. The episodes are short, so if you just want something that's quick and easy to binge-watch, you should definitely check this show out! 

9. Meteor Garden

When it comes to stories of the crazy rich guy falling in love with someone of the opposite status, the first thing that comes to mind is Meteor Garden – the original Taiwanese version, the Chinese remake, Hana Yori Dango, and Boys Over Flowers. Meteor Garden centers on Shancai, a poor girl who goes to a university for rich people. There she encounters a group of four rich and arrogant students – called F4 – who go around, bullying and terrorizing other students. 

The remake stars Shen Yue as Dong Shancai, Dylan Wang as Dao Ming Si, Darren Chen as Hua Ze Lei, Liang Jing Kang as Feng Mei Zuo, and Wu Xi Ze as Xi Men Yan.

10. Shopping King Louie 

When it comes to K-dramas, a famous kind of character you'd see is someone who's part of a chaebol (South Korean term for a conglomerate). Shopping King Louie is one of these dramas. It stars Seo In Guk as the insanely rich Louie who – having grown up sheltered in France – turns to retail therapy as way to ease the loneliness. After losing his memory, he finds himself in Seoul, he meets Bok Shil who teaches him how to live a simpler life. Joining Seo In Guk is Nam Ji Hyun.
