From the mind of George R.R. Martin comes a new science fiction thriller series set in the future on the eve of Earth's destruction — and it's coming sooner than that other George R.R. Martin series you're all waiting for.
Nightflyers is a psychological thriller that follows a group of scientists and a telepath aboard a spaceship venturing to the solar system’s edge. The crew of explorers are on The Nightflyer, the most advanced ship in the galaxy, in hopes to intercept a mysterious spacecraft that might hold the key to human survival. The series is based on George R. R. Martin's novella and short stories the author published in the 1980s. It was also adapted into film in 1987. The series premiered in the US last December under SyFy, while Netflix has joined as co-producer, holding international airing rights.

Season 1 consists of 10 episodes and stars Sam Strike, Miranda Raison, Gretchen Mol, and Eoin Macken. The first Non-US run of Nightflyers will stream on Netflix in February 1, 2019.
