Yoh, Amidamaru, and all the Shaman King characters will be making a comeback in the remake of the anime series! Check out the first teaser for the remake that is set to air on April 2021.
Shaman King is based on the manga by Hiroyuki Takei that began on 1998. It follows the journeys of Yoh Asakura and his guardian ghost Amidamaru. It was adapted into an anime series in 2001, and soon was brought to Philippine television becoming a part of many young Filipinos’ mornings.
The remake will feature the returning voices of Katsuyuki Konishi (Amidamaru), Minami Takayama (Hao Asakura), and Megumi Hayashibara (Anna KyÅyama); while Yoh Asakura will be voiced by Yoko Hikasa. Jouji Furuta (Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments, Kingdom) is directing with animation from Bridge studio.
