From Kenny Ortega, the director of the High School Musical films, comes a new Netflix series about pursuing dreams and finding one’s voice. Julie and the Phantoms launches on Netflix this September 10!

The 10-episode series centers on the high schooler Julie who’s lost her passion for music after her mom passed away. Things change for her when she meets the ghosts of three musicians who suddenly appeared in her mom’s studio. With her growing friendship with the boys, she creates a band with them – Julie and the Phantoms – and she finds herself rekindling her love for music.
Aside from the upcoming launch of Julie and the Phantoms, Netflix also announced that they collaborated with Columbia Records to release the official soundtrack of the show. The 15-track OST will be available starting September 10 on Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Amazon Music, and Tidal.
In the meantime, the track “Edge of Great”, which is featured on a teaser video released a few weeks back is available for streaming on Spotify now.
The musical series is from DGA Award-winning director Kenny Ortega and choreographer Paul Becker. It stars Madison Reyes, Charlie Gillespie, Owen Patrick Joyner, Jeremy Shada.
