Here’s good news to those who’ve been wanting to binge-watch The World of the Married but still haven’t found the chance to! The hit Korean drama arrives on Netflix on August 28, so you can finally check out what all the hype in the last few months has been about!
A drama based on the BBC drama Doctor Foster, The World of the Married on Ji Sun Woo who seems to be living the perfect life with her husband Lee Tae Oh and son Joon Young. However, this image is shattered when she discovers that her husband and her group of friends have been betraying her all along.
The 16-episode drama claimed its title of being the highest-rated drama in Korean cable TV history, dethroning SKY Castle which aired in 2018-2019. The drama comes from director Mo Wan Il, and stars Kim Hee Ae, Park Hae Joon, Han So Hee, and Jeon Ji Seo. It first aired on JTBC back in March.
